American 2-prong plug, UL certified
This American 2-prong plug is an essential component for lamps intended for the US market. It is discreet and suits light or minimalist rooms without drawing attention to itself. It is made of polyamide, with a rated voltage of 125 V and a rated current of 15 A, and it is certified to UL and CSA standards. It also complies with NEMA 1-15P. The conductors are fixed with screw terminals, and the cable leaves in line with the body of the plug. Anyone building or adapting a lamp to be sold in the United States should therefore plan this part into the wiring.
